I painted “Blue Planet” in 2009 never realising that I would use it as a banner on a climate march! It’s on canvas 60 x 60 cm, it combines two different techniques as the background is two layers of hand-made papers and the planet is built up with mixed media and gold leaf.

When I decided to go on the Climate March on November 29th 2015 I wanted to carry a banner of some sort, and “Blue Planet” just popped into my mind as the perfect answer!!
