Early July is always Open Studio time in Brockley, a beautiful leafy suburb in South East London, where I have lived for 30 years!
New for the Brockley Open Studios in 2015 was a central group exhibition based in St Peter’s church in Wickham Road. Each artist taking part had a piece of work on show, and visitors found this very helpful as it allowed them to sample work by every artist before deciding which studios to visit. Several pieces sold from the show (including mine!) and the striking centerpiece was one of Jeff Soan’s wobbly wooden sculptures which was displayed in the font!
