“Earth” one of the Five Chinese Elements
This is the latest piece I’ve been working on. It’s one of my largest embossed collages, the coloured part is about 30 x 30 cm. The gold in the piece is 24 carat gold leaf. This “huge” version of Earth was commissioned by a lovely customer in Ireland who likened my work to Patrick Scott, which I found immensely humbling. Working on this commission was very uplifting, maybe it was the intensity of the yellows.
