Well, what a surprise! I was in Skylark Galleries 2 by chance, covering for Susan Bart when four women came in for a browse. It turned out they were all retired heads from Croydon who’d met up for a day out. Head teachers? I said, I used to be a head too. Where? they said, Hammersmith I said. I worked in Bayonne said one, well blow me down said I that’s where I worked. She was Deputy there after I’d left, but we’d never met.
They were all nursery heads too, like me. What an amazing coincidence! I just had to ask my friend to take a picture of us all.
