I love taking part in the Open Studios because it gives me the opportunity to do a bit of a spring clean and turn my house into a gallery for the weekend!! I love to show visitors my etching press which I use to do my embossing.

I also love to invite other artists to exhibit with me and this year as last year I have invited Ruty Benjamini and Wilf Frost to be my guest artists. Our work is all very different yet we all create work that is somehow light and uplifting. Last year our visitors were very positive about our displays, and lots of artworks found new homes.

In previous Open Studios I have offered visitors a chance to be creative themselves by making a small embossed work of their own. Literally by “taking a turn” on my etching press. I’m not sure yet if I will do this again.

The Open Studios will be open from 11am to 4pm on Saturday 12th April & 1pm to 6pm on Sunday 13th of April 2025.

Accessibility: The ceramics and some of the paintings will be on the ground floor. There are lots of stairs to the upper studio where the etching press is located. Most of Wilf’s paintings and my embossed pieces are upstairs.
